Classic Qatari and Middle Eastern cuisine is offered in an old mansion with a porch and a garden, including several separate pavilions for families or groups of friends, located just a few minutes’ walk from the Corniche.

This is one of Doha’s oldest, most charming and informal restaurants that has been serving excellent local food for a hundred years. Here, you will find the traditional Qatari breakfast, consisting of balaleet, flavorful dips, freshly baked flatbreads, and more, along with wonderful Arabic coffee. The dessert menu also deserves your attention, especially its bestsellers such as the Umm Ali phyllo pastry with milk-and-cream sauce and pistachios and the softest saffron cake.
